Introduction

RKY Network Speed Meter ("we", "us", or "the App") is a lightweight macOS utility that displays live network upload and download speeds in the menu bar. This Privacy Policy explains what (if any) data the App accesses, how that data is used, and your choices.

Data Collected

• Local network metrics: The App reads local network statistics (upload/download throughput and derived metrics) using the open‑source systeminformation library. These metrics are processed in memory on your device to display speeds and history; the App does not persist, transmit, or share this data, and it does not include telemetry.
• Support email: When you use the Support action, the App opens your mail client with a mailto: link addressed to info@rajeshkumaryadav.com. The App does not send the email itself and does not capture or forward its contents.
• No automatic analytics or crash reporting: The App does not include analytics, telemetry, or third‑party crash reporting by default.

How We Use Data

• Display real‑time network speeds and history within the app interface.
• Facilitate support requests by opening the user’s mail client when requested.

Data Sharing and Transfers

We do not transmit, upload, or share your network metrics or device identifiers with third parties. Any data you send manually (for example, by attaching logs to an email you compose) is under your control.

Storage and Retention

Network metrics are kept in memory during the running session to support UI features (history, charts). The App does not persist or upload these metrics to remote servers.

Third‑Party Services

The App does not integrate with third‑party analytics, advertising, or crash‑reporting services. If such services are added in the future, this policy will be updated and the App Store product page will include the required disclosures.

User Choices and Rights

• You can quit the App any time to stop collection of live metrics.
• To send diagnostic information or logs to support you must do so explicitly (for example, attach files to an email).
